Pilates

What is Pilates?

The Pilates method of exercise was founded during the early 1900s by Joseph H. Pilates, who was self-defense trainer, boxer and gymnast. These exercises focus on strengthening and toning the muscles that form the "core" of the body (the muscles of the abdominals, back, glutes, and thighs) using controlled movements.
